This last week has been half term and as my Mum works, I've been helping out with my Great Gran! and during that time she taught me how to make her famous Mars Bar Cake and believe me it's delicious!!

I thought i would take the pictures like this to show what we started out with and what the final product looked like and this is it.

Wishing for a summer day

back in summer 2011

Can't wait to get back into the warm weather, all this rain is miserable!

I'm ready to put all my winter clothes away now and get back into summer spirit with bright nights when I can go out with friends and make the most of it!

These pictures were taken last summer, about two in the afternoon. I took the main picture without realising I was facing the sun but I like how the picture turned out, with the sun almost giving my converse boot its own spotlight.

And I can't wait to get all the bright nail colours back out too. I spent that summer day chilling out taking pictures in the garden while enjoying the sun, hope I get chance to do that again this year.

Welcome to my first blog!

This blog is going to really about sharing my pictures and building up a photo portfolio, so I'll have a great collection of images when I want to pursue photography at A levels, which are a couple of years off.

I'll also write about the music I like, things I want to buy (I'm a teenage girl, of course, so they'll be lots of things I want to buy!) and explain the story behind the pictures. 

My blog is called Every Picture Paints a Perfect Memory because there is always a story or memory behind every picture I take.   Every time I look back at my pictures I see a memory, which I'm sure is what you do too.

So, the first picture I've shared with you, was taken by myself at my Aunt's 40th celebration.  I took this picture of me and my Aunty T with a borrowed samsung camera and just needed one take.
